Enumclaw resident Kirk Parce has joined Kitsap Bank as vice president/commercial loan officer at the Bonney Lake branch. Parce, a 22-year banking veteran, comes to Kitsap Bank from Mount Rainier National Bank of Enumclaw. There, he served as vice president and lead commercial loan officer. Parce has a degree in business administration from Pacific Lutheran University and has attended Pacific Coast Banking School for the past three years. He is a member of the Enumclaw Rotary Club and Enumclaw Chamber of Commerce.

Patricia (Patti) Ziegler has been promoted to vice president, compliance officer and manager of the Loan Documentation Department at Northwest Commercial Bank in Lakewood. The Bonney Lake resident joined the bank after two years at Washington Mutual as risk mitigation supervisor investigating consumer loan fraud. She also spent 18 years with Key Bank and its predecessor, Puget Sound Bank.

Russell Investment Group appointed J. Nicholas Georgis to the newly created position of managing director, wealth management, for its U.S. Individual Investor Services group. Georgis will be responsible for building and managing Russell's relationships with individual wealth managers, including independent registered investment advisers across the country. Georgis has more than 20 years' experience.

After three years with Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, Sean Werner has started his own team. He will still be at the Sixth and Union branch of Wells Fargo Bank, developing his business through referrals and new relationships.

Debra Hodges has been appointed branch manager and associate broker of John L. Scott's University Place and Lakewood offices. Hodges has been licensed to sell real estate for more than 15 years. As an associate broker, Hodges trained and mentored new agents. Among the awards she has earned is the "Heart" Award which she received from fellow John L. Scott agents for her dedication to helping achieve the highest level of personal and business success.

Avaunt Technologies Inc. in University Place recently added Scott Kuhn to its team of technology professionals. Scott brings with him more than 10 years of technology-related sales and business experience in the area. Kuhn is a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having last served aboard the USS Carl Vinson as a nuclear mechanical operator.

Pat Aschliman of Olympia has been named an agent for Country Insurance and Financial Services. As part of his training, Aschliman completed the organization's new agent school, which is designed to help agents expand their knowledge about the products and financial solutions Country offers customers.

Dale R. Wirsing was re-elected president of the Tacoma Historical Society, and Marie Hayden was re-elected treasurer. New officers elected are vice president James Hoard and secretary Patty Mannie. New members elected to the board of directors are Jeff Cunningham, executive director of the World Affairs Council of Tacoma, and Jerry Ramsey, a civic activist and retired educator. Polly Medlock and Thomas Hudson were re-elected to the board.

Brady Hammrich of Port Orchard was named the new Washington State Champion Auctioneer at the Washington Auctioneers convention held Oct. 9-10 at the Red Lion Inn at Sea-Tac. Hammrich was awarded a trophy and sponsorship to the National Auctioneer Championship in July at the National Auctioneers convention in Orlando, Fla.

Life Care Centers of America recently honored Annette Crawford, executive director for Cottesmore of Life Care, during the company's annual management meeting awards dinner. Crawford received one of two President's Awards for the Northwest division, presented for distinguished service in the long-term health care management role. Crawford, a Gig Harbor native, began serving as executive director at Cottesmore in 2003.

Rebuilding Together South Sound, a charitable volunteer organization that repairs and rehabilitates homes of low-income home owners who are elderly or disabled, has named its new board of directors. They are: president, Stephanie Caldwell, Absher Construction; vice president, Bernie O'Donnell, Opus NW Contractors LLC; secretary, Debbie Loomis, University of Puget Sound; treasurer, Nita Earsley, HHJ Construction. Other board members are Connie Condon, Marcy Frlan and Dan Garber, United Wholesale; Cindy Johnson and Turena Koontz, Countrywide Home Loans; Sandra Lindquist and Kawehi Manuel, Master Builders Association of Pierce County; Scott Seelye, HHJ Construction; Shawn Simon, Tacoma Power; and Lisa Wojtanowiczf, Tacoma C.A.R.E.S.
